Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage business development by acquiring new commercial banking business and maintaining existing relationships.
  • Develop and implement effective calling techniques to achieve corporate growth and meet sales targets.
  • Work closely with commercial team members to facilitate credit application processes, perform site visits, and work with underwriters to obtain decisions.
  • Identify, evaluate, structure, and document commercial credit transactions to ensure maximum profitability with reasonable risk.
  • Monitor credit quality within assigned portfolios and take action as appropriate.
  • Work closely with other departments to handle client service issues and cross-sell other bank products.
  • Represent the bank in civic and community functions to further enhance the bank's visibility and increase business development.
Requirements:
  • Commercial lending/sales experience and a demonstrated track record of success in meeting progressive plan goals, portfolio management, and effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Understanding of commercial lending laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, statistics, business, or other related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or similar software.
  • Experience in financial services or banking is preferred.
  • Completed, actively pursuing, or willing to begin progressive OBL/ABA certification courses related to position.

This position is performed in an office setting, five days a week, with typical work hours being 8:30 a.m. through 5:15 p.m.
