Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Montgomery area.

Your primary goal will be to secure Survey Agreements with small to medium-sized businesses through face-to-face sales appointments. You will work closely with our Business Coordinator to gain valuable insights and feedback from these interactions.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to build relationships, and a proven track record of success in sales or business ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for daily sales appointments within a 20-mile radius of your home
  • Directing sales conversations with business owners to market and secure Survey Agreements
  • Sharing feedback and new business lead opportunities with the Business Coordinator
  • Reviewing daily successes and challenges with your Sales Manager for guidance and support

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary; we value relevant experience over education
  • Highly self-motivated and disciplined individual who can work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships with business leaders
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to identify clients' pain points
  • Ability to begin work immediately

Benefits:

  • This is a commission-only position with residual income and daily cash bonuses; realistic first-year earnings range from $100K to $110K
