Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Manager to lead our HR department and drive strategic initiatives that support our company's growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the HR department and provide guidance and leadership to ensure the successful implementation of HR strategies.
  • Develop and implement programs and processes that promote competency, clarity, and timeliness in pursuing and achieving company strategic and financial objectives.
  • Supervise HR department personnel and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage benefit insurance open enrollment, 401K information sessions, and other employee communication sessions.
  • Administer workers' compensation claims and reporting, and work with other departments to ensure employee safety and welfare.
  • Effective employee relations and counseling, and serving as a link between management and employees by handling questions and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Administration of the company's Affirmative Action Program.
  • Oversight of Employee Performance Evaluation process.
  • Oversight of Employee Training Records.
  • Coordination and management of human resources source documents, forms, and content.
  • Oversight of employee physical and electronic files.
Requirements
  • ITAR compliance.
  • Excellent written, analytic, and oral communication skills in English, bilingual a plus.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment capabilities; screening and interviewing of candidates for open positions; working with hiring managers to recruit and staff in their departments.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, ability to work collaboratively and build consensus across the organization.
  • Planning, development, implementation, and documentation of new policies and procedures.
  • Management of temporary staffing vendor relationships and labor.
  • Excellent skills in employee orientation, development, and training.
  • Familiarity with and certified (desired) to perform federal E-Verify screening.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Passion for excellence and commitment to personal development.
  • Experience in successfully working in a multi-ethnic organization.
  • Prior manufacturing environment experience a plus.
