Job Summary:

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, North America Supply Chain to lead our supply chain operations in the region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to our supply chain teams, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of our supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of our supply chain strategies.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with our business objectives, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of our supply chain processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal partners, to ensure the successful execution of our supply chain strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze key supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, lead times, and fill rates, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs, while maintaining or improving service levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement new technologies and processes to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
  • At least 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
  • APICS certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with MRP and ERP systems, including inventory control, materials requirements planning, production scheduling, and master data management.
