Position Summary:

This role is pivotal in ensuring that supply chain processes and policies are uniformly applied across various locations and accounts. It also involves the coordination of the global rollout of new processes, policies, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish inventory objectives and distribute them across site, business unit, and part number levels.
  • Facilitate collaboration among sites, business units, and functions to develop strategies aimed at optimizing inventory levels and turnover rates. Provide training to site supply chain leaders on effective inventory management.
  • Oversee holiday schedules, natural disasters, strikes, and other events to evaluate risks and mitigate impacts on the entire supply chain, ensuring continuity.
  • Initiate and implement new supply chain models in collaboration with various sites, business units, and functions.
  • Engage early with stakeholders to coordinate site activities and work with suppliers on different hubbing models (e.g., Min/Max, Buy-Sell) to minimize inventory liabilities.
  • Reduce and manage excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Assess current supply chain processes and policies, working with all sites to standardize practices and establish sustainable methods for monitoring compliance.
  • Evaluate, validate, and enhance key supply chain metrics (e.g., MOQ/MPQ, CT2R).
  • Provide continuous training to site supply chain leaders on various supply chain models and methodologies.
  • Transform existing supply chain frameworks and lead initiatives for digitalization within the supply chain.
  • Analyze, identify root causes, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues related to supply chain data compliance and governance, providing ongoing training to site supply chain leaders.
  • Work with IT teams and suppliers to address standard EDI signal compliance issues, offering support and training to sites on hubbing signal and EDI challenges.
  • Lead all initiatives related to changes and updates in supply chain data and B2B processes.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier agreements.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP or Oracle systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in a second language, such as Mandarin or Spanish, is advantageous.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP and B2B system deployments is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing context is required.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing (JDM/ODM) is a plus.
