Job Overview

ATCS is in search of a seasoned Senior Transportation Construction Management Consultant who possesses extensive project management expertise and a strong client relationship background. This role is crucial for guiding the successful execution of construction initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and execution of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within financial constraints, and meet client expectations.
  • Assist in business development efforts for significant project and contract opportunities as required.
  • Act as a lead for constructability reviews and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes, contributing to the enhancement of ATCS's Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and ensuring its consistent application across all project outputs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with over 25 years of experience in managing construction operations, including traditional design-bid-build, alternative delivery methods, and public-private partnership (P3) projects.
  • Possession of a Virginia Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory; additional PE licenses in other ATCS regions are advantageous.
  • Established relationships with clients and local engineering firms, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional client service and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Active participation in professional organizations, ideally with experience in leadership roles or committee positions.
  • Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) project delivery in Virginia and Maryland is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

This position is also eligible for an annual management bonus, targeting 10% to 15% of the employee's annual salary.
