Position: Billing System Specialist

Role Summary:

The Billing System Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing, maintaining, and enhancing the billing systems utilized by Lit Fiber, LLC. This position is essential for ensuring the precision and effectiveness of the billing operations, addressing system-related challenges, and offering user support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage the billing system, including user configuration, troubleshooting, system updates, and documentation.
  • Establish controls and audits to guarantee data accuracy and integrity within the billing framework.
  • Evaluate existing billing workflows and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to implement process modifications aimed at boosting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Deliver training and support to users regarding the billing system.
  • Resolve user issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop/maintain user guides and training resources.
  • Assist in generating reports on billing metrics to monitor key performance indicators and discern trends.
  • Examine billing data to identify improvement opportunities while utilizing billing systems.
  • Provide management with insights and recommendations derived from data analysis.
  • Configure codes and add new accounts as necessary.
  • Facilitate integration between Vetro and Sonar systems.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or a related area.
  • Familiarity with billing systems and software applications.
  • Strong grasp of billing processes and protocols.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
