Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and HR Operations Specialist to join our team at Everstaff. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while also optimizing HR operations through effective use of our HRIS system.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Manage the entire payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Payroll Calculations: Accurately calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll components.
- Payroll Adjustments: Handle payroll adjustments, including salary changes, promotions, and terminations.
- Payroll Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues promptly.
- HRIS Administration: Act as the primary administrator for the Inova HRIS (UKG Ready Partner) system.
- Employee Records: Maintain comprehensive employee records, including personal information, employment history, benefits, and payroll details.
- System Updates: Implement and manage system updates, enhancements, and configurations.
- HRIS Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot HRIS-related issues and collaborate with vendors to resolve them.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits administration, including employee enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Benefits Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly benefits invoices to ensure accuracy before payment approval.
- Employee Education: Educate employees on available benefits and address any related inquiries.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline payroll and HR processes through system enhancements or procedural changes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with HR and other departments to adopt best practices and improve efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a payroll specialist, preferably with experience using Inova HRIS (UKG) or similar systems.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and payroll calculations, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software, ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with integrity, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
