Role Overview:
The Facilities Operations Supervisor is accountable for maintaining a safe, appealing, and well-functioning environment while adhering to the facility maintenance budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
A compassionate attitude and a desire to work with the elderly population.
Basic reporting and organizational abilities.
Ability to maintain full-time attendance.
Compliance with all health requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Administrator and Director of Operations to assess and address routine maintenance needs.
Provide maintenance updates to the Administrator and/or Director of Operations through regular reports.
Treat the facility and its residents' maintenance needs with the same care as your own home and family.
Assist the Administrator in conducting fire and life safety training and drills.
Maintain a thorough understanding of life safety protocols and operational systems within the facility.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, staff, and the Administrator through a logging system.
Ensure a 24-hour response time for all daily maintenance inquiries.
Perform minor repairs as needed.
Guarantee that the facility is mechanically sound, safe, and well-maintained, with interiors that are clean and free from damage.
Oversee the maintenance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, and signage throughout the year, including weeding and trimming of beds and lawns.
