Position Overview:
The Finance Associate plays a crucial role in the timely and precise execution of financial transactions, ensuring adherence to all relevant institutional, state, and federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
The Finance Associate is tasked with managing routine financial activities, including travel arrangements, procurement processes, accounts payable and receivable, as well as accounting and asset management tasks.

Additional responsibilities include cash handling, processing warrant requests, managing internal charges, and reconciling revenue and expense records.

This role requires close collaboration with departmental employees and functional office staff, delivering exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

Under close supervision, the Finance Associate is expected to leverage technology to enhance service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant finance experience; equivalent education or experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and a willingness to learn new hardware and software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with regulations, including HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships within and outside of reporting lines.
- Demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with SAP or other large integrated financial systems.
- Knowledge of financial terminology and practices.
- Understanding of federal and state laws related to business operations.
