Job Overview

Position Type: Full Time

Compensation: $115,000.00 To $145,000.00 Annually

The Project Manager will oversee and direct the project team throughout all stages of assigned projects, encompassing pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction activities. At Construction Management & Builders, Inc., we foster a collaborative environment where the Project Manager will have opportunities for professional development under the guidance of experienced Project Executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support to the project team, including superintendents, field personnel, project coordinators, administrative staff, and accounting.
  • Manage several projects simultaneously while ensuring high client satisfaction through effective communication, adherence to schedules, and clear expectations for all parties involved.
  • Achieve project objectives by thoroughly understanding project scope and requirements, establishing and maintaining site standards, managing resources, assessing construction progress, resolving design challenges, and being proactive and decisive as a manager.
  • Handle construction contracts, including the preparation and execution of agreements with owners prior to the start of construction.
  • Manage insurance and bonding requirements, including verifying owner specifications and initiating requests for necessary insurance certificates.
  • Oversee project permitting processes.
  • Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders, including scope development, subcontractor/material supplier strategies, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with all required deliverables.
  • Ensure project safety by managing consultant services, conducting site-specific job hazard analyses, and achieving comprehensive safety objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project financial management, including preparing control estimates, cash flow forecasts, margin forecasts, conducting monthly cost meetings, and approving invoices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Blue Beam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
