Job Summary

The role involves overseeing and coordinating the efforts of personnel engaged in the cleaning and upkeep of commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities through the execution of the following responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delegating tasks to staff and reviewing completed work to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Providing necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Addressing employee concerns or escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Ordering cleaning supplies and equipment as required.
  • Performing the duties of the staff being supervised.

Supervisory Duties

This position directly supervises a team of 2 or more employees. Responsibilities include adhering to organizational policies and relevant laws while managing the following:

  • Recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work tasks.
  • Evaluating employee performance.
  • Recognizing and addressing employee achievements and disciplinary actions.
  • Managing complaints and resolving conflicts.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; alternatively, one to three months of related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.
