Key Responsibilities

The Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

  • Directing and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Assigning specific tasks to team members and inspecting their work to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Managing inventory by issuing supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues faced by team members or escalating them to management when necessary.
  • Ordering cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Performing cleaning duties as required to support the team.

Supervisory Duties

This role involves direct supervision of a team of 2 or more employees. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting interviews, hiring, and training new staff.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work tasks.
  • Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.
  • Implementing rewards and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Addressing employee complaints and resolving workplace issues.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • One to three months of relevant experience or training.
  • A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
