Role Summary

The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of personnel engaged in the upkeep and sanitation of commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities. This role encompasses a variety of essential functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delegate tasks to team members and evaluate completed work to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Manage the distribution of supplies and equipment.
  • Address employee concerns or escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Perform duties of supervised staff as required.
  • Supervisory Duties

This position directly supervises a team of 2 or more employees. Responsibilities include executing supervisory functions in alignment with company policies and relevant regulations. Duties involve recruiting, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; recognizing and addressing employee achievements and issues; and resolving complaints.

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The qualifications outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent educational background (GED); or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
