Role Overview:
The Landscape Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in assisting Crew Leaders and Team Leaders with all aspects of production, fleet management, quality assurance, and safety protocols. This position is under the direct supervision of a Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication: Effectively communicate in English.
- Vehicle Operation: Operate company vehicles as required.
- Equipment Handling: Manage various types of machinery and equipment pertinent to the role.
- Trade Skills: Possess journeyman-level expertise in areas such as:
- Professional landscape maintenance
- Landscape construction services
- Landscape restoration and remediation
- Arbor care and tree trimming
- Landscape irrigation maintenance
- Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Winter Operations: Oversee snow removal tasks, including:
- Plowing with trucks or loaders
- Shoveling with hand tools or snow blowers
- Applying de-icing agents
- Training: Mentor Crew Leaders on job sequencing and productivity.
- Logistics: Coordinate the transfer of fleet and equipment between service centers and job sites.
- Client Relations: Maintain professional representation of East Coast Facilities, Inc. and address client needs effectively.
- Crew Management: Supervise crew performance to meet budgetary goals and ensure proper task assignment.
- Safety Protocols: Uphold and promote safe working conditions in the field.
- Administrative Duties: Complete necessary documentation and maintain equipment inventory.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman-level expertise in relevant sub-categories.
- Ability to operate a smartphone and manage digital communications.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Possession of a clean driver's license.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Work Environment:
Work may involve exposure to various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and traffic. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending and twisting throughout the day.
