Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer personnel to understand their needs and provide engineered solutions.
  • Conduct face-to-face sales calls with manufacturing customers and prospects to identify development potential in accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize STS's opportunity to win business.

  • Cold calling potential customers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Travel to hold face-to-face meetings with customers throughout the Midwest.
Requirements:
  • Highly motivated person with a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • History working in Automotive, Appliance, Medical, and or other manufacturing industries.
  • Understanding of Automotive automation industry with program management experience in the automation business.
  • Adept at communicating with assorted audiences in a wide variety of different departments.
  • Goal-oriented and the drive to succeed.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Tool and Die or Manufacturing Automation business.
  • Engineering aptitude.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Ability to travel regularly.
Work Environment:

Office setting in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to drive a vehicle.
  • Ability to speak clearly and communicate with customers.
Travel:

Travel to hold face-to-face meetings with customers throughout the Midwest.
