Position Overview

The role of a Superintendent is crucial in overseeing the daily operations of multifamily construction projects. This position entails managing all production facets and ensuring that the work meets the quality standards outlined in the project’s contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing and managing all on-site activities, ensuring coordination among various subcontractors and personnel.
  2. Maintaining high safety standards and ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks.
  3. Implementing effective communication strategies with diverse project stakeholders.
  4. Utilizing construction project management software to streamline operations.
  5. Adapting to evolving project requirements and prioritizing tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, specifically in commercial interior projects.
  2. A thorough understanding of commercial construction processes, materials, and methods, particularly for interior renovations.
  3. Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or LEED AP.
  4. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of managing construction teams.
  5. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
