About the Role

Farnsworth Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO or Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center) offices. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various healthcare facilities. Your expertise will be utilized to create innovative and efficient solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for healthcare facilities, including power distribution, lighting, and telecommunications.
  • Conduct code research and apply relevant codes and standards to ensure compliance.
  • Perform fieldwork to gather existing conditions and develop preliminary schematics through final designs.
  • Calculate electrical loads and specify equipment, sizing, and layout.
  • Coordinate with other production staff to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare accurate electrical system construction drawings and specifications.
  • Review submittals and administer construction activities.
  • Manage project design budgets and schedules while maintaining quality standards.
  • Mentor engineers, designers, and drafters to ensure knowledge transfer and growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • PE certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Range

$103,000 - $138,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
