We are in search of a dedicated IT Director who will prioritize the enhancement of our network infrastructure. This role involves overseeing essential IT initiatives in cybersecurity and system integration, with the aim of delivering exceptional support to our employees while maintaining a secure network for sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic IT Management:

  1. Formulate and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business goals, promoting innovation and development.
  2. Manage departmental budgets and make informed financial decisions to support operational needs.
  3. Oversee vendor relationships and ensure accountability.
  4. Lead special IT projects and system integrations that enhance information accessibility and reduce administrative expenses.
  5. Maintain flexible working hours to address urgent IT requirements and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  6. Guide IT personnel to achieve organizational objectives through clear communication, monitoring, and coaching.
  7. Demonstrate leadership by being actively involved in daily operations.

Cybersecurity Oversight:

  1. Direct the management and execution of the 110 Controls of the NIST Framework affecting our network and infrastructure.
  2. Collaborate with leadership and staff to implement IT modifications in accordance with NIST compliance.
  3. Regularly review, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies.
  4. Ensure third-party vendors adhere to NIST standards, working closely with procurement and security teams.
  5. Conduct routine risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities related to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

Network and Infrastructure Management:

  1. Guarantee that our IT infrastructure is scalable and robust.
  2. Develop and maintain a business continuity plan to ensure rapid recovery from IT disruptions.
  3. Monitor network and system performance to ensure optimal operation.
  4. Establish a systematic schedule for system maintenance and software updates.
  5. Oversee recovery and restoration protocols, in conjunction with backup and incident management.
  6. Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a related IT field is required.
  2. 10-15 years of relevant technical experience.
  3. Expertise in network administration and installation.
  4. Demonstrated experience in IT security and compliance, particularly with NIST standards.
  5. Self-driven with strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively in a diverse team environment.
  6. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance or possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and general principles of contract law.
  2. Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations and acquisition policies.
  3. Experience with vulnerability assessments, tabletop exercises, and penetration testing.
  4. Prior experience with a DIBCAC Assessment.
  5. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are advantageous.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $140,000-$200,000, with variations based on individual skills, qualifications, and experience.
