Key Responsibilities:

Strategic IT Management:

  1. Formulate and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business goals, promoting innovation and development.
  2. Manage departmental budgets and make informed financial decisions to support operational needs.
  3. Oversee vendor relationships and ensure accountability.
  4. Lead special IT projects and system integrations that enhance information accessibility and reduce administrative expenses.
  5. Maintain flexible working hours to address urgent IT needs and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  6. Guide IT personnel to achieve organizational objectives through clear communication, monitoring, and coaching.
  7. Demonstrate leadership through active involvement in daily operations.

Cybersecurity Oversight:

  1. Direct the management and execution of the 110 Controls of the NIST Framework affecting our network and infrastructure.
  2. Collaborate with leadership and staff to implement IT modifications in accordance with NIST compliance.
  3. Regularly review, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies.
  4. Ensure third-party vendors adhere to NIST standards, working closely with procurement and security teams.
  5. Conduct routine risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities related to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and respond to any security incidents.

Network and Infrastructure Management:

  1. Guarantee that our IT infrastructure is scalable and meets future demands.
  2. Develop and maintain a business continuity plan to ensure rapid recovery from IT disruptions.
  3. Oversee network and system performance metrics.
  4. Establish a systematic schedule for system maintenance and software updates.
  5. Ensure effective recovery and restoration processes, in conjunction with backup and incident management.
  6. Assist with additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a related IT field is required.
  2. 10-15 years of relevant technical experience.
  3. Expertise in network administration and installation.
  4. Demonstrated experience in IT security and compliance, particularly with NIST standards.
  5. Self-driven with strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a diverse environment.
  6. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance or possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and principles of contract law.
  2. Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations and acquisition policies.
  3. Experience with vulnerability assessments, tabletop exercises, and penetration testing.
  4. Experience with DIBCAC Assessments.
  5. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are advantageous.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $140,000-$200,000, with variations based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
