Key Responsibilities:Strategic IT Management:
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business goals, promoting innovation and development.
- Manage departmental budgets and make informed financial decisions to support operational needs.
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure accountability.
- Lead special IT projects and system integrations that enhance information accessibility and reduce administrative expenses.
- Maintain flexible working hours to address urgent IT needs and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Guide IT personnel to achieve organizational objectives through clear communication, monitoring, and coaching.
- Demonstrate leadership through active involvement in daily operations.
Cybersecurity Oversight:
- Direct the management and execution of the 110 Controls of the NIST Framework affecting our network and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to implement IT modifications in accordance with NIST compliance.
- Regularly review, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies.
- Ensure third-party vendors adhere to NIST standards, working closely with procurement and security teams.
- Conduct routine risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities related to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and respond to any security incidents.
Network and Infrastructure Management:
- Guarantee that our IT infrastructure is scalable and meets future demands.
- Develop and maintain a business continuity plan to ensure rapid recovery from IT disruptions.
- Oversee network and system performance metrics.
- Establish a systematic schedule for system maintenance and software updates.
- Ensure effective recovery and restoration processes, in conjunction with backup and incident management.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a related IT field is required.
- 10-15 years of relevant technical experience.
- Expertise in network administration and installation.
- Demonstrated experience in IT security and compliance, particularly with NIST standards.
- Self-driven with strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a diverse environment.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance or possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and principles of contract law.
- Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations and acquisition policies.
- Experience with vulnerability assessments, tabletop exercises, and penetration testing.
- Experience with DIBCAC Assessments.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are advantageous.
