Job Overview

The Chief Information Technology Officer will spearhead the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of IT initiatives within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of information systems, data management, and communication networks that support core business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs and manages all aspects of IT operations, including software, hardware, network infrastructure, and data security systems.
  • Ensures compliance with software licensing and manages relationships with IT vendors, serving as the technical authority for the organization.
  • Assesses the effectiveness of IT systems in meeting organizational goals and objectives.
  • Leads IT projects from inception to completion, fostering collaboration with stakeholders and adhering to established processes.
  • Utilizes extensive expertise in business technology and data security to drive operational excellence.
  • Builds and maintains trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Develops a clear roadmap for IT growth and collaborates with executive leadership to secure necessary resources.
  • Oversees vendor management, including evaluation, selection, and performance measurement.
  • Implements and manages IT projects and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establishes enterprise-wide technology solutions that facilitate a robust business analytics framework.
  • Provides comprehensive oversight for IT systems across all operational locations.
  • Collaborates effectively with team members to achieve project and performance objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant certifications, regulations, and legal standards.
  • Maintains a high standard of integrity and confidentiality in all professional activities.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions without supervision.
  • Addresses complex technology and data management challenges with innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in an IT leadership role.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent progressive experience.

Knowledge Requirements

  • Expertise in Microsoft operating systems, networking, data management systems, and other essential IT programs.
  • Strong understanding of both cloud-based and on-premises IT solutions.
  • Proficient in data management, business analytics, and reporting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, MSSQL, SQL, C Sharp, and Sybase systems.
  • Effective vendor management skills and practices.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and team management techniques.

Position Details

  • Job Schedule: Full time
  • Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Travel: Yes, up to 25%
