The Email Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the comprehensive development, execution, and enhancement of email initiatives that foster revenue growth and customer interaction for our DTC and CPG brands. Your responsibilities will include crafting and overseeing email content, nurturing customer relationships through tailored communications, and analyzing campaign performance to guide strategic enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email Campaign Creation:
    • Conceptualize, design, and implement email campaigns from inception to launch, encompassing content generation, HTML development, and audience targeting.
    • Handle 10-20 focused email distributions weekly, ensuring each campaign is fine-tuned for engagement and conversion.
    • Supervise the complete design workflow, including ideation, design, construction, quality assurance, routing, copywriting, editing, deployment, and performance tracking.
  • Performance Analysis & Enhancement:
    • Monitor and report on email campaign metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion statistics.
    • Employ A/B testing methodologies and refine email triggers, delivery schedules, and content based on analytical insights.
  • Customer Journey Development:
    • Design and sustain automated email pathways that guide customers through the purchasing process and enhance lifetime value.
    • Collaborate with the broader sales and marketing teams to formulate email strategies that align with the organization’s overarching goals, marketing initiatives, product launches, and promotional efforts.
  • Content Development:
    • Periodically refresh related website content via the CMS as part of wider digital marketing efforts.
    • Create and refine marketing copy for emails, SMS communications, newsletters, and promotional content.
  • Cross-Channel Strategy:
    • Oversee SMS/MMS initiatives alongside email marketing, ensuring a unified approach across digital platforms.
    • Engage with cross-functional teams, including creative, sales, and analytics, to ensure campaigns are in harmony with brand objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in email and SMS marketing.
  • Proficiency with leading email service providers such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (required), Klaviyo, and/or Marketo.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and email design standards and best practices.
  • Exceptional time and project management abilities to meet the fast-paced demands of email marketing, managing 10-20 targeted distributions weekly while maintaining a marketing calendar that plans 2-3 months ahead.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, list management, data handling, and deliverability best practices.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a background in tracking and optimizing email campaigns based on key performance indicators.
  • Familiarity with the specific needs of DTC and CPG brands, with experience in these sectors preferred.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to established processes.
