Position SummaryThe Parking Operations Coordinator will assist in various tasks related to parking management, customer service, and transportation logistics. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure adherence to parking regulations.
- Identify and report safety hazards, including issues with traffic signals and signage.
- Manage parking accounts and enforce policies by applying vehicle immobilization devices when necessary.
- Supervise student workers, including parking enforcement officers and cashiers, ensuring efficient operations during service hours.
- Coordinate transportation services for students with accessibility needs, maintaining open communication with drivers and staff.
- Assist in organizing parking for special events, including resource allocation and signage setup.
- Handle clerical duties and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support departmental objectives.
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least six months of customer service experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts are essential.
Physical RequirementsThis position may require lifting up to 50 lbs and involves a mix of office and fieldwork. Candidates should be prepared for varying environmental conditions.
