Position Overview:

NARO is in search of a skilled and passionate General Manager to oversee the restaurant's operations. This role requires close collaboration with the ownership and management team to ensure that the restaurant operates smoothly while upholding the high standards that define the NARO experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Management:

  • Promote a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
  • Oversee daily operations, including guest interactions and staff management.
  • Engage in opening and closing tasks, including financial reporting and team meetings.
  • Manage the POS system and maintain guest relations.
  • Ensure accountability among team members and address any disciplinary matters.

Guest Relations:

  • Proactively address guest concerns and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Establish rapport with guests and enhance their dining experiences.
  • Oversee guest communications through various platforms, ensuring professionalism and accuracy.
  • Monitor online feedback and coordinate responses to enhance guest satisfaction.

Inventory Management:

  • Supervise the ordering of supplies and branded goods.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of inventory processes.
  • Implement effective inventory management systems.

Facilities Management:

  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee essential maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with service providers for cleaning and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain restaurant equipment.

Human Resources:

  • Lead recruitment efforts and ensure effective onboarding.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and support professional development.
  • Administer disciplinary actions and ensure compliance with labor laws.

Administrative Duties:

  • Organize financial documentation and oversee cash handling.
  • Monitor expenses and lead investigations into discrepancies.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist with event planning and client communications.
  • Ensure successful execution of private events.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs when necessary.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
