Position Overview:

NARO is in search of a seasoned and committed General Manager to oversee our restaurant operations. This pivotal role involves working in tandem with the ownership and management team to ensure efficient restaurant functionality, while promoting a supportive workplace culture and upholding the exceptional standards that characterize our dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Management:

  • Encourage a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Oversee daily operations, including guest interactions and staff management.
  • Engage in opening and closing tasks, such as financial reporting and team meetings.
  • Manage the POS system and guest relations.
  • Ensure accountability among team members and address disciplinary matters as necessary.

Guest Relations:

  • Proactively address guest concerns and resolve issues effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, understanding their preferences to enhance their experience.
  • Oversee guest communications through various platforms, ensuring professionalism and accuracy.
  • Manage online reviews and feedback, coordinating recovery efforts as needed.

Inventory Management:

  • Supervise the ordering of supplies and branded goods.
  • Maintain knowledge of inventory procedures for various restaurant needs.
  • Implement and oversee inventory management systems.

Facilities Management:

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure routine maintenance of the restaurant.
  • Coordinate with service providers for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain essential equipment.

Human Resources:

  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes for new staff.
  • Foster team development through training and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Administrative Duties:

  • Organize and track invoices for timely payments.
  • Oversee cash handling and payroll processes.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist with planning and executing private events.
  • Ensure seamless event operations and follow-up for future opportunities.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to local labor laws and health regulations.
  • Maintain necessary certifications and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs when necessary.
