About Moments Hospice

Moments Hospice is a leading provider of compassionate end-of-life care. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for sourcing admissions through direct community contacts, educating healthcare providers and the general public about our hospice program. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to market aggressively while dealing tactfully with customers and the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Outreach
    • Develop and implement a community outreach strategy to educate healthcare providers and the general public about our hospice program.
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the community, including healthcare providers, community leaders, and other relevant organizations.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and execute a marketing plan to promote our hospice program to potential referral sources.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including contract negotiations with facilities, insurance companies, and managed care facilities.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, including healthcare providers and other organizations.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations with other healthcare organizations.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators, including admissions, revenue, and market share.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience
    • At least three (3) years' experience in healthcare marketing management, preferably in hospice care operations.
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to market aggressively while dealing tactfully with customers and the community.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
