About the Role
Safety-Kleen is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
- Prospect and convert new leads into customers, leveraging industry knowledge and product expertise to drive sales
- Collaborate with route drivers to convert new sales opportunities and grow current customer base
- Prepare and deliver customer quotes, proposals, and presentations to secure new business
- Achieve monthly sales quotas and budgets, meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies
Requirements
- 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the environmental services or industrial hazardous waste management industry
- Proven track record of sales success, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive decision-making and secure new business
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and results-driven mindset
- Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation
