Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Officer to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and conducting application reviews for an assigned regional territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Application Reviews
    • Conduct recruitment and application reviews for an assigned region (domestic and/or international territory).
    • Build relationships and host presentations in the market.
    • Visit high schools and community organizations.
    • Develop knowledge and familiarity with the secondary school landscape in the region.
    • Leverage data analysis to manage decisions in a designated region(s) or area of study.
  • Information Sessions and Tours
    • Conduct information sessions, and support tours as needed.
    • Respond to routine requests from prospective applicants and families, as well as counselors.
  • Programming and Events
    • Support programming and events staffing as assigned.
  • Relationship Management
    • Manage internal and external relationships: Faculty, counselors, prospective students and families, current students, university administrators, high school counselors, and alumni.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • One (1) year of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a college or university admissions officer preferred, which would include recruitment and/or application review.
