Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Admissions team as an Assistant Director, Admissions. This role will be responsible for managing recruitment activities and planning in support of strategic enrollment goals for the full-time MBA program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan for the full-time MBA program, in collaboration with the Director of Recruitment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, using a consultative sales environment and a variety of communication methods and technology.
  • Interview full-time MBA applicants, review application files, and recommend acceptance or denial based upon established admissions criteria and holistic read.
  • Make scholarship recommendations and provide data and reports in support of evaluating and enhancing recruitment strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Office of Admissions, as well as faculty, staff, and administration, to address outreach and recruitment challenges and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five years progressively responsible related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience with Slate or other student application and CRM platforms preferred.
  • An understanding of graduate management education and prior professional experience in admissions for a full-time MBA program.
Working Conditions

This position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented approach. Some evening and weekend work is required, and the assistant director must be willing and able to travel domestically as well as internationally, if needed.
