Job Summary

Johns Hopkins University is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Director/Director I, Data Science. This role will be responsible for managing recruitment activities and planning in support of strategic enrollment goals for the full-time MBA program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic recruitment plan for each assigned program/territory in support of program, school, and institutional goals.
  • Collaborate across Carey with the academic program director, academic program manager, and other key faculty and staff to keep current on each assigned program's curriculum, differentiating features, and goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective students for assigned programs in a consultative sales environment using a variety of communication methods and technology.
  • Analyze admissions data and trends, forecast changes in higher education recruitment, and develop appropriate strategies to respond.
  • Present publicly and serve as a representative of Carey Business School to individuals and groups at virtual, on-campus, and off-campus events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Previous experience with Slate or other student application and CRM platforms preferred.
  • An understanding of graduate management education.
  • Prior professional experience in admissions for a full-time MBA program.

Working Conditions

This position will work collaboratively with colleagues in the Office of Admissions as well as faculty, staff, and administration in addressing outreach and recruitment challenges and opportunities.

Some evening and weekend work is required. The assistant director must be willing and able to travel domestically as well as internationally, if needed.
