Job Overview:
This position is hosted by Jobot. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Commercial Lines Account Manager.

Salary:
$75,000 - $100,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their insurance needs and inquiries. Build and sustain strong relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention levels. Conduct regular assessments of clients' insurance programs to guarantee adequate coverage.
  2. Policy Management:
    Oversee the renewal process for commercial lines policies, which includes preparing quotes, reviewing coverage options, and negotiating terms with underwriters. Process new and renewal policies, endorsements, cancellations, and other policy modifications. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of policies and related documents to clients.
  3. Claims Management:
    Assist clients in filing claims and provide guidance throughout the claims process. Collaborate with claims adjusters and other relevant parties to ensure efficient resolution of claims.
  4. Risk Assessment and Analysis:
    Evaluate clients' risk exposures and recommend suitable insurance products and coverage options. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to advise clients on emerging risks and new offerings.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with producers, underwriters, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Support the training and mentoring of junior account managers or support staff as needed.
  6. Administrative Duties:
    Maintain accurate and current client records in the agency management system. Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred. Relevant insurance licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty license) are mandatory.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, focusing on account management. Familiarity with agency management systems and insurance software is essential.
  • Skills:
    Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
