Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their insurance needs and inquiries. Build and nurture strong relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention levels. Conduct regular assessments of clients' insurance programs to confirm adequate coverage. - Policy Management:
Oversee the renewal process for commercial lines policies, which includes preparing quotes, reviewing coverage options, and negotiating terms with underwriters. Manage the processing of new and renewal policies, endorsements, cancellations, and other policy modifications. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all relevant documents to clients. - Claims Management:
Assist clients in filing claims, providing guidance throughout the claims process. Collaborate with claims adjusters and other relevant parties to ensure efficient resolution of claims. - Risk Assessment and Analysis:
Evaluate clients' risk exposures and recommend suitable insurance products and coverage options. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to advise clients on emerging risks and innovative products. - Team Collaboration:
Work closely with producers, underwriters, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience. Provide training and mentorship to junior account managers or support staff as necessary. - Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and current client records within the agency management system. Prepare necessary reports and documentation as required by management.
Qualifications:
- Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is advantageous. Relevant insurance licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty license) are mandatory. - Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, particularly in account management. Familiarity with agency management systems and insurance software is preferred. - Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Capacity to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
