Job Summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing complex commercial property and casualty accounts, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and prospects, and effectively marketing to carriers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive customer service plans to ensure customer retention and growth of book of business.
  • Work at a strategic level to develop and retain consultative partnerships with customers/prospects.
  • Provide technical support to account teams, including analyzing client needs, coverage forms, and quotations.
  • Contribute to new business development by identifying cross-sell opportunities and seeking referrals from existing customers.
  • Manage or direct client accounts/relationships to ensure retention and growth of book of business.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced staff as needed.
Requirements
  • 7 years + of insurance experience.
  • Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • High school diploma or graduate equivalent degree required.
  • Experience managing complex commercial property and casualty accounts.
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Experience effectively marketing to carriers and customers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to comprehend customer issues/needs and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
