Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Enrollment Specialist to join our team at Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, coordinating, and enrolling families in our centers and family child care homes throughout the greater Boston and North Shore area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with center and family child care directors to determine enrollment needs and develop strategies to increase enrollment.
  • Communicate program information to parents, program directors, and other agencies in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in site meetings to discuss openings and track data related to the state waitlist system.
  • Verify family income and service need prior to coordinating appointments with families.
  • Provide meeting facilitation and communication related to childcare enrollment activities.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as a strong team member to accomplish goals.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience working with low-income families and knowledge of vouchers, income eligible contracts, and DTA vouchers.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in early childhood education or social work.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and confident communication skills.
  • Experience in a customer service setting requiring interaction with the public.
  • Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when working with the public.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficient Internet usage skills.
  • Local work-related travel and a valid Massachusetts driver's license.
