Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Bilingual Program Director to join our team at the National Youth Advocate Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Program Director in ensuring the delivery of long-term foster care services to unaccompanied minors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Director in providing programmatic, administrative, financial, and operational support related to the provision of care and services.
  • Serve as a secondary liaison with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and other stakeholders.
  • Produce and deliver regular and timely reports to stakeholders.
  • Establish a respectful and supportive workplace environment.
  • Elevate issues or concerns to the Program Director.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
  • Five years of progressive experience in social services or childcare agency or organization.
  • Two years of experience in an administrative and/or supervisory role in youth services.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and good driving record.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible and non-traditional hours with a possibility of being on call on nights/weekends.
  • Ability to organize, navigate, and physically escort youth to various travel destinations.
