Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Director to lead our community outreach and engagement efforts in Montgomery County. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and older adults. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase community awareness of our programs and services, as well as identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Growth:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive community outreach and engagement strategy to increase visibility and awareness of our programs and services.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion, including partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and older adults to build support for our programs and services.
- Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of community outreach and engagement staff to ensure effective implementation of our outreach and engagement strategy.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff and volunteers.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Montgomery County site, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in community outreach and engagement, program management, or a related field.
- Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with community leaders and stakeholders.

We use a service-exchange concept as the foundation for our support for members, engaging people to help each other with the myriad tasks involved in everyday living.
