Sales Executive Job Description

Culver Careers is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion through strategic sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Lead business development efforts to generate increased sales revenues for the Sacramento branch through continuous contact and follow-up with existing and potential customers.
  • Customer Relationships: Facilitate and grow strategic relationships with existing customers, focusing on maintaining current business and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Pipeline: Secure new customer appointments and build a sales pipeline through continuous prospecting for new customers, achieving sales plan and goals as determined by Sales Management.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an understanding of the manufacturers and products we stock and have access to, including significant product applications.
  • Manufacturer Relationships: Develop excellent professional relationships with key manufacturer representatives that service and support the company.
  • Branch Operations: Learn and understand all basic branch operations to provide backup in the absence of other branch employees, including sales counter, shipping, receiving, etc.
  • ERP System: Develop a thorough understanding of the ERP System, focusing on sales history, data, and trends.
  • Industry Events: Participate in state and local industry events and conventions as deemed necessary.
  • Documentation: Document customer visits, opportunities, and relevant action plans in CRM.
  • Travel: Up to 50% travel required for customer visits, trade shows, etc.
