Job Title: Financial Sales Manager Business Development

At First Citizens Bank, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through proactive outreach and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and referral sources.
  • Represent the Bank in the community to generate new business opportunities and identify potential CRA opportunities.
  • Manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions, and financial exposures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, customer service, lending, or financial services, including supervisory experience.
  • Or, high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, customer service, lending, or financial services, including supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of retail banking products and services.
  • Ability to network and build centers of influence.
  • Business development skills.
Compensation:

The base pay for this position is generally between $87,825 and $152,230 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
