Position Overview:
As a Retail Operations Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the store, ensuring that all operations align with company standards and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Expense Management:**
- Control operational costs while safeguarding company assets in accordance with established retail policies.

2. **Staff Management:**
- Prepare and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal store coverage, adhering to wage control guidelines.
- Recruit, train, and develop store personnel to meet operational goals and maintain compliance with company policies.
- Implement training programs and conduct regular performance evaluations.

3. **Inventory Control:**
- Accurately manage store inventory through receiving, transferring, price adjustments, and conducting product counts.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping practices are followed in compliance with legal requirements.

4. **Store Operations:**
- Open and close the store according to established procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members at all levels to foster a collaborative work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of post-secondary education and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets while minimizing losses.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to deliver training and assess employee retention.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in computer operations and relevant software applications.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing for extended periods.
