Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Leader to join our team at Speedway. As a key member of our retail management team, you will be responsible for overseeing store operations, providing customer service leadership, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Leadership: Provide exceptional customer service, train and coach store employees to deliver outstanding customer experiences, and ensure a positive store environment.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store, ensuring compliance with health and sanitation procedures, and implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Team Management: Recruit, develop, and empower store employees to achieve sales goals, maintain high retention rates, and foster a positive work culture.
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Ensure accurate cash handling, manage inventory levels, and maintain a high level of product availability.
  • Area Pricing Surveys: Conduct area pricing surveys to ensure competitive pricing and maintain accurate inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.
  • Experience: At least one year of retail management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to multitask, and a strong work ethic.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and auto insurance required for area pricing surveys.
