Position Summary

The Sales Territory Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through strategic relationship management and effective sales techniques within the designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of meeting sales objectives and fostering long-term partnerships with clients and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory, aiming to increase sales revenue and achieve targets.
  • Support distributors with strategic planning, organizational skills, and administrative tasks to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in the onboarding and training of new distributors, providing resources for contract negotiations and marketing strategies.
  • Assist in planning and executing sales exhibits and participate in trade shows and educational conferences.
  • Stay informed about product developments and competitive activities to enhance distributor engagement and account acquisition.
  • Address product-related inquiries and resolve issues to maintain distributor confidence and satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall sales strategy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of sales experience, with at least three years in field sales.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong presentation skills for both small and large audiences.
  • Experience managing extensive territories with a variety of product lines.
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior sales staff.
  • Capacity to stay updated on industry trends and apply them to real-world scenarios.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 to 80 pounds as needed.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales quotas and revenue goals.
