Position Overview

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior AI Solutions Architect to become a vital member of our Merchant Data Platform, Data Science and Modeling team. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing the next generation of AI-driven merchant ecosystems.

In this capacity, you will design data science solutions aimed at enhancing merchant data, uncovering insights, ensuring data integrity, and empowering cross-functional teams to unlock the full potential of merchant data. Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping the team's direction and nurturing junior talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Our team requires a Senior AI Solutions Architect with extensive experience in Data and Machine Learning System development and operations. You will contribute to both strategic and tactical planning and execution to further the vision and mission of the Merchant Data Platform. In this role, you will be a dedicated and adaptable engineering leader, collaborating within Agile scrum teams.

As a crucial member of the leadership team, you will:

  • Establish a technical roadmap and introduce cutting-edge machine learning and system technologies.
  • Collaborate with development managers and teams to identify and address technical challenges.
  • Work alongside various product and data science teams to streamline feature requests and model integration.

This position supports a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to be in the office 2-3 designated days per week, based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 8 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 3 years of experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree, or 6+ years of experience with a PhD.
  • Proficient in modeling techniques such as logistic regression, Naive Bayes, SVM, decision trees, or neural networks.
  • Skilled in SQL, Python, and foundational libraries for machine learning like scikit-learn and Pandas, as well as Jupyter Notebook.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies and analytics, including Hadoop, Spark, and Query Engines.
  • Familiarity with Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning methodologies.
  • Experience in MLOps and large-scale production machine learning systems.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Airflow or Metaflow.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior team members and providing technical leadership.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs.

Travel Requirements: This role may require travel up to 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be conducted in an office environment, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and via telephone, and operate standard office equipment.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is between $179,200.00 and $259,850.00 annually, which may include potential sales incentive payments. Salary may vary based on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonuses and equity, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
