KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Assisting the Sales Manager in managing all showroom departments
  • Analyzing sales performance, including margins, volume, quotas, and closing ratios, while recommending future objectives
  • Supporting the Sales Manager with customer-related concerns that exceed the Guest Experience Manager's scope
  • Collaborating with the Visual Presentation Manager on product arrangement
  • Communicating policy changes and relevant information to team members
  • Providing outstanding leadership to the sales, guest experience, and visual teams as directed by the Sales Manager
  • Coaching staff members to foster individual and team success in a professional environment
  • Gaining insights into budgeted administrative expenses, including wages and supplies

  • Ensuring thorough documentation of completed procedures and tasks
  • Completing various reporting functions promptly
  • Assisting in the recruitment, training, and coaching of the sales team
  • Aiding the Sales Manager in preparing and conducting performance evaluations for assigned personnel
  • Facilitating timely and effective communication
  • Participating in monthly staff meetings
  • Performing other essential duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • High School diploma
  • A college degree in a business-related field is preferred
  • Ability to articulate a comprehensive understanding of the company's Mission Statement, Core Values, Customer Belief System, Differentiators, and Disciplines
  • Current or prior experience in retail sales
  • Successful completion of orientation and proven success in the current role
  • Consistent execution of job functions as defined by the company
  • No disciplinary documentation on record
  • One year of prior management experience is preferred
  • Willingness to relocate to any current or future market
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work retail hours, including evenings, holidays, flexible hours, and travel as necessary
  • Availability to work every weekend
  • Exceptional communication and team-building skills
