This role is performance-driven, featuring potential bonuses and commission structures.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will engage in hands-on training and develop your skills in the senior living sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing community occupancy in line with strategic marketing plans by utilizing established sales methodologies.
  • Guiding prospective residents and their families through the decision-making process, ensuring their needs are met with timely responses to inquiries.
  • Facilitating the sales process by conducting assessments and presentations, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed prior to residency.
  • Maintaining open communication with management regarding prospective move-ins and tracking pre-residency steps.
  • Collaborating with business development teams to achieve lead generation goals and managing outreach to local community contacts.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with residents and referral sources to generate leads and provide information about community offerings.
  • Monitoring community inventory and identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement.
  • Representing the community at local events and fostering relationships within the market.
  • Assisting in resident retention initiatives through various programs and events.
  • Partnering with management to develop marketing strategies and monitor sales performance metrics.
  • Utilizing lead management systems to optimize sales effectiveness and maintain accurate records of sales activities.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, along with 2-5 years of sales experience, ideally within the retirement or healthcare sectors. A valid driver's license is required due to frequent travel.

Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of sales principles and marketing strategies.
  • Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and build trusting relationships.

Physical Requirements

This role may involve standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Interaction with colleagues and residents is a key component of the position.
