Territory Sales Consultant

The Territory Sales Consultant is tasked with implementing all facets of the MABI portfolio brand strategies within the designated region. This role involves executing wholesaler initiatives, managing distributor incentive programs, and ensuring effective key account management. The defined market area will consist of one or more distributors.

Key Responsibilities & Contributions:
  • Engage in field activities: 4.5 days per week collaborating with DM level influencers at distributors.
  • Implement all components of the sales strategy through the wholesaler network. Collaborate with District Manager level influencers to execute brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Accountable for monitoring and reporting on ongoing market conditions using the MABIlity tool.
  • Provide weekly retail/market summaries of execution and performance, offering managerial insights on market dynamics through the MABIlity tool.
  • Collaborate regularly with team members in the field, sharing best practices and coordinating market execution/activation efforts for key initiatives, new product launches, and distribution drives.
  • Oversee brand execution at the market level, ensuring adherence to brand standards including pricing, shelf placement, cold box positioning, display, and draft and bottle arrangements.
  • Stay informed about competitive trends and report relevant developments.
  • Regularly assess personal performance on a monthly basis to identify areas for professional growth.
  • Consistently demonstrate the MABI Way to sell (Taste the Difference, MABI meetings, DAP3, and Performance Dashboard).
  • Fully embody the MABI One culture (5Vs, 5 Cs, 27mm cases).
  • Manage personal operating and T&E expenses in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Monthly Focus:
  • 18 days (90% of time) dedicated to ensuring retail execution, surveying with key wholesaler influencers, and evaluating distribution, display, and advertising feature execution.
  • 2 full days (10% of time) managing all administrative tasks due monthly (fiscal accountability, distribution tracking, program execution tracking, and performance management) alongside local initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 1-2+ years of experience collaborating with wholesalers in the beverage sector or CPG (preferred).
  • Candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, organizational skills, a positive attitude, teamwork capabilities, and the ability to build robust relationships with all stakeholders.

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for budgeting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel) with the ability to create and present information effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
Compensation Range: $70,000 - $87,000
