About the Role

Amedisys, a leading provider of home health and hospice care, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to promote our home care services.

Responsibilities
  • Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about our home care services and their benefits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices, to generate leads and drive sales growth.
  • Coordinate patient admissions with our team, ensuring seamless transitions and high-quality care.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals, using our CRM system to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Achieve sales targets, including admissions, product, and payor-mix goals, to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Maintain a complete and up-to-date record of targeted referral sources in our CRM system.
  • Attend community events to promote our services and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Respond to customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development or outreach role.
  • Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
