Job Overview

The Sales Producer role at Tyrone Collier American Family Insurance is a dynamic opportunity for a results-driven professional to market, prospect, and sell insurance products in all product lines. This position requires a strong understanding of customers' needs and the ability to match them with appropriate product and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Utilize consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers and help the agency grow through sales and retention of existing customers.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Proactively identify opportunities to provide additional coverage to existing customers and work with the agency team to coordinate and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through leads, networking events, and personal contacts.
  • Quote and Application Preparation: Prepare and deliver effective presentations to close sales and secure new business.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Obtain a Property & Casualty license ahead of the first day of employment.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, plan, set priorities, and organize work effectively.
  • Experience and Skills: Demonstrated sales and customer service experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.).
