Sales Development Representative

Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice company, is seeking a skilled Sales Development Representative to join their team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding Amedisys' presence in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities- Educate Healthcare Professionals: Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices, to generate leads and promote Amedisys' services.
- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to educate them about Amedisys' home care services.
- Coordinate Patient Admissions: Coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation to complete the referral to admission process.
- Conduct On-Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
- Keep Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
- Achieve Sales Goals: Achieve admissions, product, and payor-mix goals, as well as meet short and long-term target account goals.
- Document Sales Calls: Document the minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM, including pre and post-call notes.
- Maintain Referral Sources: Maintain a complete, up-to-date record of targeted referral sources in the territory in CRM.
- Attend Community Events: Attend community events to promote Amedisys' services.
- Respond to Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role.
- Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and liability insurance.
