Sales Engineer

At Composite Advantage, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales of our company's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales of company products and services.
- Understand customers' technical needs and provide tailored solutions that meet those requirements.
- Explain complex technical information to customers in a way that is easy to understand.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotes with all needed details.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Update records of customer communications and relevant opportunity information.
- Follow up with customers and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Drafting, or a related field, or relevant experience.
- Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of technical products and services.
- Good understanding of the construction and building trades.
- Ability to review, analyze, and understand project specifications, project drawings, and project designs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with strong drive to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to identify and follow up on leads.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional skills in selling products and closing sales.
- Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
