Agricultural Equipment Wholesale Sales Specialist

This role is for a Wholesale Sales Specialist at C & B Equipment, a company that has expanded to encompass three divisions: John Deere Ag, Material Handling, and Powersports across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute effective sales strategies aimed at marketing used agricultural machinery to a wide array of dealers across various territories.
- Client Interaction: Proactively engage with jockeys, wholesalers, inline dealers, and competitive dealers, building robust relationships and comprehending their specific requirements.
- Domestic & International Sales: Manage sales transactions that reach across the nation and include some international dealings, thereby enhancing the dealership's market presence.
- Product Expertise: Keep abreast of the features, advantages, and unique selling propositions of John Deere's used agricultural machinery.
- Sales Performance: Regularly achieve or surpass sales objectives by effectively negotiating agreements and finalizing sales with diverse stakeholders in the agricultural equipment sector.
- Market Insights: Continuously assess market dynamics and competitor activities to uncover new sales prospects and maintain a competitive edge.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and enhance the dealership's reputation.
- Sales Reporting: Deliver consistent reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in sales, ideally within the agricultural equipment sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of the wholesale market and the ability to effectively engage with various dealer types.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively and manage sales across different regions.
- Familiarity with John Deere agricultural machinery is highly beneficial.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Capability to meet the physical demands associated with the role, including tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
